• Enhancing Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Primary Health Care in Canada reviews definitions of interdisciplinary collaboration and its underlying principles, examines the enablers and barriers for interdisciplinary practices, and assesses some outcomes of these models of care. • Individual Providers and Health Care Organizations in Canada focuses on the provider level of health care. It looks at attitudes, perceptions and opinions, and examines continuing education, and organizational factors that affect collaboration. (Carole Stonebridge, Ottawa: The Conference Board of Canada, 2005).
• Canadian Policy Context: Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Primary Health Care identifies elements of the policy environment that are likely to facilitate, support or have an impact on the nature of interdisciplinary teams and the extent of collaboration in primary health care in this country. (Diane Watson and Sabrina Wong, Ottawa: The Conference Board of Canada, 2005).
• Barriers and Facilitators to Enhancing Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Primary Health Care explores the many ways in which primary health care is defined and then concentrates on funding, regulation, liability, electronic health records and health human resources. All of these elements can be both barriers and facilitators to interdisciplinary collaboration. (Raisa Deber and Andrea Baumann, Ottawa: The Conference Board of Canada, 2005).
• Principles and Framework: Literature Review highlights findings with respect to the concept of principles and frameworks. This document was the building block for the creation of the EICP Principles and Framework.
• Interdisciplinary primary Health Care: Finding the Answers � A case Study Report analyses the organizational culture, structures, and processes at several successful collaborative primary health care organizations across Canada.
